Day No. 11 on O'ahu

Book'em, Danno!

Danno: "Really? Is that gonna be a thing now?"
Steve: "You don't like it?"
Danno: "Don't like it."
Steve: "I think it's catchy."

Famous words, right? Well known as the beginning of "Book'em, Danno!" At least for all Hawaii Five-0 fans. 😎

Welcome to Hawaii Five-0! Wow! What a day!πŸ˜€ We drove off before 7 am, because there is much traffic to Honolulu in the morning. Normaly I am an early bird but since we're on O'ahu I can't get enough sleep somehow. But our time here is much too precious to oversleep it and so we made it to be in time at the pick up point at Honolulu Zoo.  πŸ‘

with kind permit of Amy
Those of you which have already done a tour with Amy from Hawaii 5-0 Tours know how fantastic her tour is.πŸ‘ Those of you who haven't done the tour or never were in Hawai'i I highly recommend to book her. Amy - our today's tour guide - drove us to all the striking buildings and places of the show. We saw Danno's, Kono's and Grover's house🏑; we drove on the Tantalus DriveπŸ“·; we stopped at the place where Kamekona's Shrimp Truck🍀 is on the show and much more. And finally we had a tasty lunch at the La Mariana Sailing Club.🚀 You can ask Amy everything about the show. Her knowledge is just amazing! I didn't know that Hawai'i passed a law against paparazzi. In my opinion, this is exactly right, because everyone has the right to privacy - regardless of what profession he pursues. All in all it had been an exciting time that my honey and I truly enjoyed very much.πŸ™

After the tour we decided to take secondary roads for our way back home to Ka'a'awa. So we drove along the coast through Waialae - Kahale, Hawaii Kai and made a short stop at the Makapu'u Lookout. Some signs in the parking area of the Makapu'u Beach caught my attention.πŸ˜‰ We went there and for the second time since I'm on the island I found by acident those exciting 'EYE' signs. 😍

We continued our way through Waimanalo, Maunawili, Kaiula, Mahinui, Kane'ohe, Kahaluu and Waikane. I love driving through these small towns along the coast where you can find so many beautiful views. πŸ’—

Finally at home the day ended with a beautiful moonrise that we watched comfortably sitting on the Lanai with some nice ice cold Kona beer in our hands - until the mosquitoes found us.πŸ˜‰

 Aloha! πŸŒ΄πŸŒΊπŸ™
